Legal or illicit, it's the same dynamics: The older person tends to be on the same emotional level as the younger person. And if the older person lacks confidence, a younger person with less experience has no standard by which to judge the older person's behavior. This of course is in addition to the obvious factors: younger is cuter (Nature's way of protecting the young of the species), hotter and livelier. The better question is why younger people are attracted to older people?

I'm 46 and have dated men as young as 30. I can still get away with it so why not? The thing that attracts me to younger guys is their energy and the fun they bring to a friendship. I'd never marry one (I don't think) but for a good time they are so much more into it than the guys my age. Men over 45 seem to be getting lazy (only some of them) and just don't have the same kind of drive as those still clawing their way up. And that older woman - younger guy thing? The one where he worships us? Well, sometimes it's true.

it makes the older person feel younger.
I am 50+ and I still act like I'm in my 20's or 30's and I like being around younger people. I don't know that I would date one because most of them don't have their heads on straight. Even when they are 40 they have no goals or they have them but have no clue how to get there.

I am a 42 year old female and my best friends are 25 and 34. I'm attracted to them because they are fun and energetic like me. They like me for the same reason. A lot of people my age are to "old" for me in attitude. So it all depends on how young a person feels on the inside. I'll never be "old"!

young girls look fresh... and also they are more fashionable n all clothes suit them well... they are attractive... n men want to become single again and find new partners...
n since young girls dont have any responsibilities or stress most of the time they are able to give full attention to the man unlike the wife who is more concerned about her kitchen n kids than her looks or husband... or may they do have a satisfactory married or sex life ... hope this answers ur question

coem to think of it, maybe physically, beauty & youth attracts many. But older ppl r generally more emotionally mature.

its personality as well --- sometimes they just click --- thats what happened with me --- i did not want to become involved with a younger lady yet we just connected emotionally and spiritually
