Degauss Tv?

My daughter thought the colors on the tv screen were cool when she used my 5lb magnet on the screen. Now I have shadows and funky colors all the time. Anyone know how to degauss a television? CRT.

See if Radio Shack still has a degauss unit, I don't think they are very expensive.

Most modern sets are equipped with a start up degausser, (that electronic surge noise you hear when you turn on a set.). If the set is not equipped or your condition does not improve by turning the set on and off, check this link and you can purchace a device to manually remove the rainbows.
