I just got my braces a while a go and was just curious what happens to your teeth after you get them pulled out for braces. I got my my top and bottom premolars taken out to make more room for the teeth to shift. I was wondering What would happen to my teeth now that I have my braces on and my premolar taken out. Will my teeth shift in ward and allign with my other teeth in the back? or will the back teeth shift foward to allign with the teeth in the front? I want it to shift back so my mouth wont bulge out so much. Please HELP ME im so worried!

Dont worry! I had 8 teeth removed before I got my braces on (4 of which were permanent). They will shift equally usually, depending on where your teeth are the most crowded. The good thing about braces is that it takes time for your teeth to move. If you are unhappy about the way your smile is shaping up, talk to your orthodontist. But above all, don't worry! Orthodontists have gone through tons of schooling and know what they are doing!

Don't worry, if the Dr.s didn't think it would work then they wouldn't have done it. All your teeth will shift to where their suppose to go wether it's inward or outward. They did that to my niece too. She had her premolars removed to give room for her teeth to shift into place, it's been over two years now and she gets her braces off next month. Her teeth are perfect. Just be paitent, the Dr.s know what they are doing, and you'll be happy with the results in the end.

Your orthodontist has a plan. I had molars removed so that I could get my braces when I was 12. I have very straight teeth now. Talk to your doctor at your next appointment and just ask what he has in mind and what you should expect when the braces are removed.
I'm sure you're going to look great!!!!
