Just wondering why border guards should even bother showing up for work if even the government doesn't care about illegals entering our country?
An investigator from the Inspector General's office interviewed the illegal drug dealer, bought his story, provided him with "taxpayer-funded medical treatment" in an El Paso hospital, and gave him FULL immunity from all charges just to testify against Compean and Ramos.

That's why no one wants to be a border agent, its a very hard job. And its bad enough us seating here from the comforts of our desk wandering why they are not protecting us, and those in congress do the same thing. immigration is everyone's problem.

I am sorry about the Border Patrol Agents, but you are steering away from the facts. Both Compean & Ramos fired at drug runner after he was heading back to Mexico side of the border. More than Fifteens shot were, hitting the runner in buttocks. Both Compean & Ramos did not know about the drugs until Supervisor and other Border Agents arrived and search the area. Compean & Ramos did not file the proper paperwork which is a Felony in the Criminal Justice System. Compean & Ramos tried to cover up this. You are trained the only time you discharge your weapon, only when you or innocents are in immediate harm ways. The runner had no weapon, and no weapon was found. There was no threat to the Border Agents. He was shot with "taxpayer-funded bullett". So treatment must be provided. I do not agree with running drugs. They had a trial 12 jury members found them guilty. I THINK YOUR QUARREL SHOULD BE WITH THE JURY.

While under that cloak of immunity the same drug dealer was arrested trying to smuggle ever more drugs into this country.Again he was not charged because he was under immunity.
The Justice Department needs to be renamed to Only Justice for Alien Criminals.
Message to all Border Patrol Agents,next time shoot to kill drug smugglers.Not just wound them in the azz.
And tell me kiddies do you really think that a known convicted experienced drug smuggler taking drugs across the border was really unarmed.? I will never believe that and if you do I have some ocean front property here in AZ that I will sell you.

Right now, skilled trades jobs are going to the thirdworld invaders. Tech jobs and the like are going overseas to Asia and India. Actually Bill Gates of Microsoft is demanding the US bring in tens of thousands of people from overseas to take on tech jobs.
Americans, black, white, asian, latino, indian are being squeezed out. You will soon have to accept being paid peanuts for the work you do. Globalization means your standard of living must be lowered to accomidate other nations in the world.

It means that the President is not interested in protecting our borders from illegals who will work illegally for his pals at a low wage and with no benefits putting honest Americans out of work.
Those two imprisoned guards WILL be released soon if the outcry from the public continues OR will be released as soon as Bush is out of office.
The public is NOT going to give up on our demands to close the southern border and start mass deportations.

They also gave him immunity before he was caught by the border guards, and what did he do with it? He snuck back in with an even bigger amount of drugs and got himself shot. Serves him right. While two good men do time, that worthless drug peddler is free.

That has turned into the most thankless job there can be. The pro legal were all about the rules on this one only they also seem to be saying such rules cannot apply to illegal aliens. This will just keep the border patrol down.

I think it is total crap they had 750 pound of marajuana in the van if it would of been a state patroll officer it would of been ok. So what is the point of our border guards.
