Just had my first rejection and i'm still thinking 'bout what happened. Although i understood the fact that she has a boyfriend. But, i just can't seem to forget what happened. How do i cope with this and get over it?

You could kidnap her and take her for a ride into the desert in the trunk of your car. When you get there make her sorry for rejecting you.
Or you could do it the crazy way, send her a card saying 'you are so great I had to try or I would hate myself for ever. Goodbye'.
Then as you are 'back on the market' start looking.
Everyone gets rejected sometimes, it's part of life.
However if you do have problems dealing with rejection, get some counseling.

Such is life, unfortunately. When we ask for what we want, the pattern usually goes... no no no no no no no no no no no no no no YES. Rejection and failure suck. Just remember -- even the greatest baseball players of all time only hit the ball 1 out of 3 pitches. Sooner or later you're bound to find the right person, and it's all the more better when it happens.

FYI - you'll probably never see it coming when it happens too.

Well, it's never as bad as you think. I think most girls are kinda flattered when they get asked out. It really is a compliment even if it isn't in the cards. Some guys think it is humiliating to be rejected. I don't agree with this. I figure if she is really the kind of person I want to go out with, she'll take it as a compliment. If not, then I wouldn't want anything to do with her anyway.

Find somebody else who interests you and move on.

As you get older, you learn not to invest so much of yourself in these risky endeavors. You test the waters first before jumping in. If it turns out to be less pleasant than expected, you just let it fade. Others will come along.

It is nothing to fret over, we all get rejected. All you can do is move on, and find things to get it off your mind.
