No. The phones audio jack is made for headsets, so when you plug the cable into it the microphone, and the speaker on the phone turn off. When you plug the phone into the stereo you will hear the person your talking to, but they wont be able to hear you talk. Hope this answers your question.

I would go with a Pioneer or JVC if you looking for best price. If you want quality Alpine or Clarion hit me up I got some good prices on them...
