:) well here's what my colour bible says goes with pastel pink:

~ deep aqua, deep fuschia and apple green (d.f or d.a)
~ lilac, pale mushroom and white (p.m)
~ purple, orange and forest green (f.g)

next to each on i have put the which one i think would look best as a bridesmaids dress in brackets..

you could use the other colours to add into your colour scheme :)

here are some links of dresses i have found in these colours:

(deep fuschia)

(deep aqua)

also try going on websites such as www.dessy.com as you can chance the colour of the dress on the image.. choose the colours i've selected or your own! good luck.. congratulations x

Light Pink Wedding Dresses

Have you thought about the bridesmaids flowers at all? It might help you decide.

I have seen a trend for black bridesmaid dresses and that would set off your dress and any light spring early summer flowers well. I would go for high contrast.

So I would work with the light pink/pastel pink palette and either pick white, black, or a very deep muted shade of pink for the bridesmaids. The only thing I would definitely stay away from is having an assortment of different colors, like say a pastel rainbow for the bridesmaids.

I think that will confuse your guests.

Congratulations!

ooh, that's a hard one, but the color sounds beautiful!
have you tried getting an idea from a bridal shop maybe you could call them and see what they would suggest.
otherwise I'm not to sure what black or red dresses would look like with light pink me personally i don't think it would go but you never know.

I'm not sure if it would look appropriate but I think some off white dresses with some pink ( the same as your dress) designs or little flowers on them, i think that would be very beautiful.
or you could have another pastel color on them that would go with pink maybe pastel blue, pastel yellow, pastel green or pastel purple, i don't know what your other colors are going to be but maybe one of them colors will look nice on the other dresses.
I really hope these ideas help you it's going to be a wonderful wedding good luck best wishes for the both of you

p.s. just a little advise for you:
my aunt told me when i got married, when you argue with your husband or have problems don't go telling the whole world because you both will make up and they will remember all these things you said while you were mad but when you both make up you guys will be happy again and the other people will remember what happened. The same goes for you, that was the best advise I got, and I did that ! But you know don't take no abuse, you know what I mean!
okay i really hope i could be a help!

Nice choice. I'd say the color for the bridesmaids should be determined by the rest of the wedding...when is it going to be? Where is it going to be?

For a springy garden wedding, I'd say a pastel blue, green or lavender (darker than your pink, so you stand out).

For a beach wedding, I could see taupe (champagne) or sea green or blue (with pink sashes to match your dress would be pretty, I think).

For an evening affair, I'd go with dark and drama...deep burgundy or red dresses with long, graceful lines (with silver jewellry/shoes/etc?) would be VERY elegant.

For a more fun, hip theme, pink and brown, especially in retro polka dot patterns (go with dresses with knee-length, playful skirt styles, with tulle underneath--very fun). Works really well if you're a big fan of chocolate; have a chocolate cake and truffle favors and a chocolate dipping fountain..Could be LOTSa fun!

But basically, they're right. It's up to you! MANY congratulations!

Congratulations! What a wonderful time in your life! A pink wedding dress is such a unique idea!

I would go and browse all the bridesmaids dresses and see which one matches and compliments your pink dress the best. You can probably tell better in person than you can by just guessing. Take a picture of your dress or get a color swatch of your dress to take with you.

Good luck!

I'd say a taupe or chocolate color. Since you're wearing pink you'll want to mute the bridesmaids down a bit otherwise your pictures will look like a pastel rainbow. Ugh!

I think champagne or gold bridesmaids dresses would compliment that gorgeous gown perfectly. Pink might look too "matchy", but gold or champagne would look very elegant, playing off your wedding gown, highlighting, but not matching it. Too much pink might take away from your gorgeous dress (it really is stunning!) But a pink sash or accessories for the bridesmaids would again compliment it, but not be too over-the-top with one colour. Good luck!

Matters if you want it to look like pastel heaven or not. If you pick for them to be in light colors (soft blues, greens, pinks, yellows), it may look too pastel...but, that may be what you are looking for.

I'd go for a rich counter color like black, and then have their sash the same pink as your dress.

Otherwise, if you want to go with the pastel look, I'd choose a nice light green or blue.

hot pink maybe. Have u considered white for them. i went to a wedding where the bride wore green and the bridesmaids wore very plain and simple white dresses. Looked amazing.
