Joan T had the correct answer. Take your case along to shoe repair shop and they will tell you if they can replace the handle. Alternatively, have a look in any charity shop to see if they sell cases or briefcases, you may be able to purchase an old cheap one and use the handle to repair your case.

Sounds crazy, but try a shoe repair shop. I had a bag repaired there once. Be prepare to get robbed though.

you might try a music store too. My sister needed one for her violin case and they got this really strong leather thing for her. I think it buckled on or something. But it was a really strong handle.
