He meant that if we back out of the Middle East it will give the terrorist the impression they have "won" and that they may start committing terrorist acts in America again.

How many terrorist attacks have there been on American soil since we first invaded Afghanistan? None , right? Seems to me the governments idea of fighting them on their own turf to keep them off ours has been pretty successful for the last 5 years.

Islam Fascism hates America. This is something that the media likes to downplay. Remember the attack U S Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998? Remember the attack on the U SS Cole in 2000? Remember the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001?

The Elite media types are morons.

It is a complete misconception that the radical Fundamentalist will stop planning to attack U.S. assets if we just fold tent, raise the white flag and just leave just to pander to the Polls.

The radical Fundamentalist believe that they can not achieve their total victory until all of the west and the infidels are destroyed. A victory on U.S. soil plays extremely well to the popular belief of those who want to harm the U.S. You would think we learned this in the 1990's but we have become a "Instant Satisfaction Nation" swept up by a political machine that wants a quick victory to regain power instead of the risk of repeating history.

Just another paid RETIRED fossil talking garbage. This man has zero insurgence combat experience. He is a vietnam era fighter jock not a ground pounder and has no campaign experience where he directed a campaign. He is just a talking head from a conservative think tank who parrots the party line.

Because "red baiting" is the only argument they have left. All the others they tried using to justify stealing Iraqi oil didn't work.

It sounds pretty obvious to me. If we leave the Middle East right now, we will have to deal with further attacks on our nation's soil.

It is a policy of Fox News that if you don't tell a lie that favors the delusional right, you don't get air time.
