There are so many types of love but I am going to answer your question from a "couple" standpoint.
Love is when you truly find someone and you connect on a level that does not require words...where the thought of them just existing is enough to sustain you.
Love at its core is MOTIVATION. Love will motivate one to do anything necessary to nurture it, anything necessary to grow it, and anything necessary to keep it.
Love should get your *** up in the morning...because there is one more opportunity to love him/her.
Love makes you wake up and watch your lover under the pale moonlight...watching them breathe and finding the rhythm in the rise and fall of their chest.
How far will I go for that....to truly have that in my life....well, I'd at least go as far as New York City.

Love means to give, my simplest example is mother to child. Mother give us everything and they dont expect anything back. That is the purest meaning of love for me.
When you feel you wants to give everything to the other person that may mean you love the person and to the extent of giving your life is the highest of all love, but what is the point to die if we could choose to life and be joyful and happy.
To answer the question, I am willing to sacrifice my self for the person i love.
I have a question to you:
while you are walking in a jungle, you found a very beautiful key what will you do?

This seems to be a 2 part question.
I would bleed die and kill all on the same day for someone I loved, but maybe not in that order.
There are, however, different degrees of love. And they matter too.

If it's real love, then yes, I'd give everything. But, if you're young and think that you're in "love" with someone, and all you're feeling are really intense emotions, then it's not really a mature, real love.
Most of the people posting on these walls are in High School or younger. Of course they think they're in "love."

I've been with the same person for years. What I be willing to do, depends on the situation, I would never degrade myself to keep someone with me though.
