You've got it all wrong. satan is just a fallen angel and he got into it with God - not the other way around! What satan promises that is good is only temporal - you can't compare his "presents" to God's which are eternal. God does not lie. Also, man made the choice to turn away from God - that means the consequences are man's responsibility. Just like a child who is disobedient when they know better - you can't blame the parents for a teenager's choices! So, we're guilty children and not all necessarily a part of God's family. There has to be some radical reconciliation and change of heart to put a person into God's family. You can't put satan and God up there like they are on an equal level as parents. God is the heavenly father. satan is more like an evil child gone bad, but he's not even a child - he's just an angel. God is the fun loving heavenly Father who offers true fun and blessing for those who choose it.

Satan has always hated human beings, Shonuff, and he hated God before God ever made the first man. Satan is NOT a being trying to compete with God for the love and affection of human beings. Satan deceptively lures people into his web, and then chews them up alive. You don't even need to have seen a wrecked human being in the clutches of a full-on demonic possession, to know what I'm talking about. You've seen people who believed the lie that something wrong was going to be good for them, and then you've seen what happened to them down the line.
And what delights Satan most when that happens isn't the howling of humans in misery, although that is a sweet sound to him---it's the broken heart of God.
The whole point of Jesus dying on the Cross was to get this dysfunctional family back together. Does Jesus dying on the Cross for you look like a bitter mother? "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his SOn, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father."
Abba, in case you didn't know, is a term of endearment Middle Eastern children have for their fathers. It's like saying Daddy.
See ya Shonuff...CEO???

The christian god is all male, God the Father, and Jesus, his Son. Man didn't give us a female representation in heaven. Man kicked the Mother to earth, so our mom and dad god, is dad and dad. The whole world is decieved by the wicked one, the whole world is worshiping the image that the "devil", or corporate man has set before us. Moses wrote the first five books of the bible, so he is the author of the Lie, and the abomination that christians call god. That is why Jesus said, forgive them, for they know not what they do, or who they worship. Christians are the decieved members of "Satans" dysfunctional family. I do not worship the false male entity that christians call god. Thier god is a perversion.

No, that would imply that Satan had a hand in creating humans. How about this one; satan is the older brother who tries to pretend that he is Dad, and Dad finally gives him the choice to shape up or ship out, so what does the brother do? He takes off in rebellion and tries to take out as many of the kids as possible just to spite his Father.

Since God created Satan your analogy is without merit.
Satan is more like the high school dropout drug dealer who hangs around playgrounds and invites people to get high.

Nope. All of use have sinned and fallen short of God's ideal. Satan was an angel who wanted to set himself up as 'god' - he was cast down with 1/3 of the angels who followed him. God is loving Father who could not leave us in our sin and separate from Him, so He sent Jesus, His only begotten Son, God incarnate, to pay the penalties of our transgressions that through Him we might return to fellowship with God.

I view God as the abusive husband.
An abusive husband tells the wife that she is no good. He threatens her if she doesn't do what she's told. He becomes violent at the slightest provocation.
Yet, the wife is too afraid to leave him. She believes that he loves her, and she tells everyone this. She makes excuses for his violent outbursts all the time.
This is not unlike a relationship with the Christian god.
