Nothing did not happen. It was after a party and I was tipsy. So he had an extra room that I slept in. Today it feels very very akward. I don't understand why because nothing didn’t happen. Any thoughts??

Well he mentioned to other co-workers and we laughed. It took the edge off of it. But he lied and said that a female came over but no one did because it took me awhile to go to sleep. So I didnt say nothing. Any to relieve the tension is alright with me.

You are feeling awkward because other people are going to jump to the conclusion that "something" did happen.
Your co-worker sounds like a caring and well-meaning person. He was concerned about the fact that you had indulged a bit too much and did not want to see anything bad happen to you.
People can think and surmise what they like, but that doesn't make it true.
You should be a bit more concerned about becoming "tipsy" in what could be an unsafe or even dangerous situation.
You typed in a bit of a Freudian slip in the part where you said nothing didn't happen, which really sounds like something did happen because of the double negative....do you secretly feel attracted to this co-worker???
I would not worry about the whole situation, as long as your co-worker does not allude to the fact that "something" did happen to other co-workers; there will be other things to discuss by tomorrow. Have a good day!

It sounds like you are upset because you had to sleep over a co-workers house and probably think that will cause rumors or just isn't the right thing to do. Because you feel it's OK to act this way with your friends but not with the people you work with.
Since you do feel this way... you might want to use this as a learning experience and watch how much you drink next time you're at this person's house for a party so it doesn't happen again.
Hopefully, rumors won't start. I would move on and not worry about what happened.

Maybe you were more tipsy than you thought and things happened that you don't remember!!!!
Or maybe even though nothing happened, your co-worker is telling people that something did happen!!!!
Maybe that extra room had cameras set up that you don't know about!!!!
Just some things to think about the next time you need a place to stay over night. Girlfriends are safer and you don't have to worry about the awkwardness in the morning!!!!

Mr. Ed hit the nail on the head. The first double negative could be discounted as a typographical error - but then you did it again - in exactly the same way. So something DID happen and now you are feeling guilty?
If you like to play games - as you have already demonstrated - I assume you are setting up your coworker for a fall.
Never drink alcoholic beverages unless you can afford to take a taxi home.

Staying at someone's house is a very personal experience. You are "co-habitating" for that night. Many people advise not mixing work and personal life.
Think back to sleep overs as a kid... Getting to sleep at a friend's house was SOOO important and cool. Sleeping at someone's house is a big deal.
I hope the awkwardness goes away. A good start on healing any out-of-whack vibes would be a nice thank you gesture. Bake him some cookies or take him out to lunch. Something to say thanks for the great favor that he did for you!

Your co-worker cares enough about you as a person to have seen to your safety. I'm certain that other people at that party saw how drunk you were as well.
It doesn't feel awkward in that anyone thinks that anything happened between the two of you. If feels awkward because everyone saw you drunk out of your skull.
There's a huge lesson in that for you. You just have to wake up to it.

Maybe you are worried that other people might be thinking. You know the truth and so does he....unless someone comes right out and says something, then do not make a big deal out of it. Maybe you feel awkward because you wanted something to happen? Who knows?

Well I think the thought that You and He are of the opposite sex makes you feel akward. And everybody in this World has something bad to say and think if You were to tell them that you slept in a guy's house, correct? So do not feel guilty about anything, as long as you are innocent. Be happy. :)

Could be that one of you actually hoped something would happen, and if that isn't you, and you want to maintain the friendship, take him out for lunch as a "thank you for saving me from making a big mistake and driving drunk".
He will appreciate it.
