Just be her friend and get to know her. When you think she's over her ex then ask her out.

First off, she is trying to make you jelious. She knows you like her. Maybe start off by asking her to a school dance. The two of you could talk. You might learn something about her that you may not even like.

Also I think you need to give her time and space. She is probably confused right now what she wants out of life. Maybe ask her for her phone number and then call her every other day or once a week. But just give her that time and space.

Right now I would say she is still trying to get over her ex. Give it some time so she can truly be over him before you jump in there. BUT, be there for her. Let her know you are there to talk to, hang out with, lend a shoulder to cry on. That way she knows you are a true friend and you care about her. As some time goes on, you'll know when the time comes to make your move! Good Luck hon!

Ask her out. No one ever died from that. If she's ready, she'll let you know. And if she's not, she'll let you know too. Ask yourself a question: If the world were to end tomorrow, would you regret not having asked her out? Follow the answer. And keep in mind, you're not asking her to marry you.... Good luck.

P.S. Kinda sounds like she's letting you know she's interested in the email, by the way.

Zach-relationships can come and go quickly at your age. She's telling you to ask her out. Do it. What's the worst that can happen? She declines. You're strong enough to live through that. If you wait, you've lost your chance. She just sent you a very strong signal that she likes you.

Ugh... more kiddie drama.

Here's what you do.

1) Go to music store.
2) Buy FallOut Boy CD or other EMO.
3) Go home.
4) Play CD.
5) Cry.

I agree with Leiani, you should be there for her as a really good friend and shoulder to cry on, don't rush into anything with her as she will be on the rebound and may end up hurting you without realising it. Let her know you like her but also let her know you are willing to wait until she is ready to date again.

Good luck :)

I would start by giving her a small gift. Based on the email she sent you, I would suggest "The Oxford English Dictionary". Seriously. Noah Webster is spinning in his grave.

Go ahead and ask her to hang out sometime, just you and her. At age 15, she wouldn't have mentioned the crush unless she wanted you to.
