We know ourselves there are many things going on on our world that is being kept from us. Maybe they think we are not intelligent enough to understand it. Maybe they fear a panic. Myself, I think not finding out the truth till the last minute will be what creates panic.

I suppose it can be. In the old testament God made it clear that those who did not warn the ones stumbling to slaughter that He would not hold them guiltless.
