Basically I was due on April 9th, which would have made me aires, but I was actually born on January 8th, which makes me capricorn. My husband is a capricorn and I was wondering if I am actually an aires.

I have always wondered the same thing. I am a preemie, born in March. I wasn't due until June. This making me 3 months early. March is Pisces. June is Gemini. I seem to fit the description of a Pisces more than a Gemini. I think I really read into it what I want. I don't take any of this seriously. For me it's a game. How ever, I have a friend that goes by the Chinese zodiac which goes by the month you were conceived, not born. I was conceived in September (of course) September is the sign of the monkey. I fit this sign to a "T". This friend of mine.... when we first met, she had no idea of my B.D. told me after meeting her in 2 weeks, that I was conceived in September. This blew my mind! How in the world could she know! This is when she explained the Chinese zodiac to me! So, maybe there just might be something to all this after all?! I still have my doubts. It's still all a game to me.

You were actually born on the 8th Jan so you're a Capricorn, if you're finding issues with the fit have someone do your full chart including rising house or whatever the extra ones are, you may correspond closer to another sign in your chart.
