Its more than what my bridemaids are paying for. But I also have 3 bridemaids who are saving for a wedding too, so i tried to stay Under 200. Mine were $130.00. Do you have a picture of the dress?? Im sure its woth it. I still think $200.00 is ok, plus that it comes with the shoes. Just make sure no one else carrys the same dress cheaper. Cause originally the dresses i found were 175 and then i shopped around and got them for 130. Good Luck!!! :)

It seems like a very reasonable price, considering some dresses can be in the $500.00 range now. I don't know if you are the bride, but if you are you may want to discuss this amount with all of the bridesmaids individually, as you do not want this to be too much for anyone to spend.
If you are one of the bridesmaids, you need to discuss this price with the bride and other bridesmaids for the same reasons. A wedding is supposed to be a joyous occasion for all involved and it would be mean spirited and uncaring for anyone to feel pressured about how much money they had to spend.
Most brides and wedding planners today are being more conscientious about not going into the poorhouse or forcing others in when planning the big day. Most are also more thoughtful about not choosing the types of gaudy dresses that can never be worn again.
Best of luck to all, and have a wonderful day!

It sounds about normal. If you know someone that sews, you can buy patterns at various stores (even Walmart) and online for about $10. That was what I did for my wedding. I had about $125 in the fabric and then about $75 in labor for 3 bridesmaids dresses and 2 flower girl dresses. Then they are able to keep their dresses. I found shoes for like $35 each. But let them buy their own shoes since they were getting to keep their dress. And then I just bought them some jewelry as their gift on rehearsal night. Hope this helps. Good luck and congratulations!!!!

Ask your bridesmaids. If they are ok paying that then no it is not. But if they think it is too much work with them to find a more reasonable price. Because they have to also pay to have the dress altered. Also search online for the same dress and you can get it much cheaper. Or try davidsbridal.com. Their prices are much better.

Well it depends on the bridesmaid's financial circumstances, is she a student, or a single mum or a married mum? Is she working part time or full time?
If her circumstances are strapped perhaps you'd consider buying the dress and shoes for her and she could pay you back . Or perhaps you and she could find a seamstress would might make her dress for less money. And she might be able to find shoes that are as pretty but on sale at some place like Payless.

No, that is very reasonable! I felt bad about asking my friends to spend that much, but they all said they loved me and I was worth it. I understand feeling bad about asking them to fork over money, but that price is VERY good!! Most bridesmaids dress companies are closer to 400. You're doing good!

No, that is a great price! I just bought my wedding dress/veil/slip/bra yesterday and everything totalled $881! It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but it is about average. I got everything from David's Bridal.

No that's about right. It's hard to get cheaper then that and get several dresses to match. Almost everywhere is $200 a pop now.

It depends on your bridesmaids. While it is a good price, if there is someone struggling, it might be too much for them, when you add in travel costs, gifts, etc.
