Breaded Steak Recipe. The great thing about this recipe is you can make a lot of the steaks and eat them during the week. You can either eat them as a main course and sprinkle it with lemon juice or you can make an awesome sandwich.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ingredients

beef round - wafer thin 2 lbs
egg 4 beaten
milk 1/2 cup
salt 1/2 tsp
black pepper 1/4 tsp
bread crumbs 2 cups
oil 2 cups

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Directions
In a shallow baking dish beat the eggs. Combine with the milk, salt, and pepper.

In a separate shallow baking dish spread out the bread crumbs.

Dip a slice of beef round in the egg mixture. Coat evenly and completely.

Now dip the slice of beef round in the bread crumbs. Gently tap the slice of beef round into the bread crumbs. Flip the slice of beef round over and repeat. Try not to handle the meat too much. If there are uncovered spots on the slice of beef round - sprinkle bread crumbs on the area and gently pat it down.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Cover a plate with paper towels.

Fry the slice of beef round on each side for 1 to 2 minutes. Since the meat is so thin it will cook quickly.

Remove the cooked slice of beef round to the paper covered plate. Repeat with the remaining slices of beef round.

Milanesa is just thin steak, pounded flat, then dipped in egg, then breadcrumbs, then fried.

Play with the seasonings, but really, the simpler, the better. You will obviously have salsa on the side anyway, right?
