All we need do is to turn away from sin especially sins of addiction and our spiritual lives will flourish.

I think spiritual awakening has to occur. You have to become aware that there is a spiritual path to enlightened consciousness and only then do you set about achieving it. I believe I have reached a state of spiritual awakening but I've only begun on the journey towards spiritual enlightenment.

We are at the lowest level of the Real spirit world.
Everything under us was created by our own misguided spiritual energies.
We must progress up many levels to get to where God is.
Paul describes this ascension when he says, "We are changed into the same image, (spirit), from glory to glory."
