one guy who I really like I act shy with because I like him and am thinking about asking him out but I don't know if I should because we are so different but he looks at me alot kind of odd so my ? is this Should I ask him out or let him know I am interested

ask him..becuz then youll know for sure, and you wont be playin " games"..its always best just to go strate to him and tell him

when I was growning up, I was always taught that the guy should be the one asking the girls out. But I see things have changed so rapidly.
This is my theory. Ask him out to dinner and just ask him questions about things you want answered. If they are the answers you are looking for, then take it up another notch, If not, you should just move on.
You'll never know unless you ask and find things out on your own.

I think you should at least let him know your interested. Me and my boyfriend were friends for a long time, and we are total opposits, thats what makes dating him so fun and different.
