How about a nice pocket knife or pocket watch.

If you are just a bit creative, make him a coupon booklet. Yeah, a coupon booklet. You can do it on the computer or by hand, it doesn't matter. Use Valentine colors: pink, red, white, etc. Put at least a dozen coupons in there. Here are a couple of ideas for the coupons:
1. This coupon is valid for one backrub
2. This coupon is valid for one evening of me being your love slave
3. This coupon is valid for one lazy evening in front of the fire with a bottle of wine
4. This coupon is valid for one bubblebath for 2
You get the idea... choose things to put in that you both like and also stuff that he likes and that you don't enjoy as much.... like if he likes to go fishing and you hate it, give him a coupon saying it's valid for one day of fishing with you...
Have fun with it.... I've done this more than once with my husband and he really loves it because it's a gift that he can use for weeks on end....and it's all stuff we both (mostly) enjoy doing. Okay... there are always a couple of coupons in there just for him... like I ususally give him one that allows him to have a lazy day, no housework, etc.
Enjoy! It's a great gift because you get to have fun with what he wants when he gives you a coupon....

Give him coupons made youself...(on the computer or by hand)...saying things like "Good for one Backrub"..."Good for One Dinner At Your Favorite Restaurant"..."Good For One Homecooked Meal"....or you can make "love" coupons...use your imagination....my husband loves getting these....I also send him on a type of "scavenger hunt"...leaving notes at each place on how to find the next item...(i.e.: start at the front door with a note that says maybe "I love you devine, now look in the fridge for how to be mine"...then in the fridge have a note "You've found the key to my heart, look in the backyard for the way to start"..) you get the idea....it's fun, it's something you took the time to do for him, and he'll enjoy the "hunt"...have the last note in the bed under his pillow or somewhere romantic....

If you love Him that much, you don't need valentines day to be an excuse to express it. You know him better than anyone. Here's a hint though, don't give him something he just wants, give him something he'll remember for the rest of his life. It doesn't need to break the bank either, check your memory banks, what did he do to win you over? I'm sure you know just the thing.

You're husband doesn't need "cute". Men don't do cute. Give him something hard and masculine.
Most girls will give this answer a thumbs down because they don't understand males. It's natural. But if you wanna be smart, ask a guy for advice on what guys like and not other women.

I gave my fiance' a silver money clip engraved with his initials on the front and a simple personal love message on the back with my name and the date. He loved it and still carries it today 2 years later. Its very personal, something he can carry with him always, everytime he looks at it he will think of you, it will last a very long time and not to overly expensive.

Write down 100 reasons why you love him, roll it up in a scroll and tie it with a ribbon. Means much more than anything storebought.
