The "Bay of Pigs Invasion" was a Cuban-American encounter just off the coast of Cuba's Guantanamo Bay, where the American forces now have a military installation to prevent future would be assaults against America and it's mainland. Guantanamo is also where the world's most dangerous terrorists that have been caught up to date are housed or imprisoned awaiting trail and sentencing.
