I have had two boys and there is no such thing as terrible two's. Its called discipline. There is no negotiating with a two year old. Do as I say or here is your punishment. Usually a tap on the diaper and a time out in there room works. My house had rules before they came and I didn't change them when I had them. They become part of your family and the family rules.

its all in your head, lol i think 3-4 is the hardest age. We have four boys and i think people take the terrible 2's and falls for them lol. They do not exsist. If you control your kids then there shouldnt be a problem. Our youngest is now 4 and hes the baby of the family so he gets away with a little more than the other ones. He likes to talk a whole lot, ask tons of questions and he doesnt know how to at all entertain himself. If you ever see the commercial on tv where the dad is putting the little girl in the carseat in the back seat and she doesnt stop talking and he goes around and gets in and shes still talking. Thats me and my son lol. 2's really seemed pretty easy to this stage. Its just more of a headach :) but of course thats how they learn.

I have 3 kids aged 11, 3, and 2. The twos have not been terrible for any of them. I've had more trouble with the third year than the 2nd.

I don't think it's an understatement. "Terrible" pretty much describes it. I thought the age of 3 was even worse though.

it extremely is going to end whilst your baby had discovered what behaviour is appropriate and what isin't. The toddlers point is the point that babies study socially suitable behaviour and what it takes to function in society and in a family members, and so on. As we are no longer born with manners and empathy and different needed existence procedures, those are the flaws that babies could desire to study and whilst they get to the two and 3's there is a few resistance because of the fact as toddlers each and everything is cute and new and that they "do no longer understand from now on powerful", that's genuine, because of the fact a infant's ideas isn't able to comprehend a number of complicated issues. yet whilst your baby reaches 18 months or so and that they are able to comprehend and talk greater powerful with you, they could desire to study those issues so as that they are able to become a healthy loving grownup. wish that helps. I actually have a 25 month old that is going interior the path of the comparable element and you're able to desire to have a number of persistence and attempt to no longer lose your temper with them on account which you do no longer desire to wreck their shallowness, yet you're able to desire to offer time-outs and opulent them whilst they're doing incorrect. sturdy luck

I can't really answer since my son will not be two for 3 more weeks. However, I can say that now that my son is able to talk, I have noticed that the fits and tantrums have decreased significantly over the past couple of months. They were 100X worse 6 months ago when he wanted to speak his mind but couldn't.

Heck no! It sure wasn't in my house anyways. Remember that even small kids are still people with their own personalities, and some are destined to be much more easy going than others.
