Faith is neither learned nor earned but is a gift from God that is given to those who love the truth and seek it. Through faith comes revelation.

You are confusing tradition with true faith. True faith is given, usually as a result of effort and obedience on the part of the one gaining the faith.

Well as a christian, there are two kinds of faith.. One is "heart faith" this is the kind of faith that allows you to recieve salvation . The other faith is called "head faith" this is the kind of faith that is grown in a believer. Hope that helps! :)

First, i counsel seeing a psychotherapist to examine when you're plagued by melancholy. Many forms of melancholy effect from chemical imbalance, which isn't compared to diabetes. undergo in concepts, medicine is purely one type of medical care, and infrequently all it particularly is needed is a short era to "kick-commence" you, and get you lower back interior the saddle. also keep in mind that starting to be previous is a dynamic procedure, and adjust must be envisioned, perhaps even welcomed. replace is the defining high quality of the universe. it will be uncomfortable at cases, although the alternative is stagnation. this stuff aside, the substantial impact i'm getting out of your placed up is that you're acquainted with having something "exterior" act as a stress for happiness on your existence. between the failings that a good component of our international does no longer understand is that happiness ought to come from interior. No volume of religion, socializing, recreating or diversions will "make" you chuffed if internally you're unhappy. they are going to easily be "quick fixes" which fade once you're with the exception of them. it is the classic "artwork 5 days so that you'll be able to loosen up for 2" mentality that a lot of our international has time-honored as regulation. that is why such rather some human beings dread Monday mornings. In my experience, the most important to happiness is to DO what you appreciate maximum, and BE what you adore maximum. at the same time as human beings ask us "what do you do?", the automatic reaction is to declare, "i'm a mechanic, i'm a generic practitioner, i'm a manager, and so on, and so on." we've a tendency to outline who we are through our careers... the 8 or 10 hours an afternoon we spend operating (typically for somebody else.) Is who you're the artwork you carry out on a daily basis? if so, are you DOing what you appreciate maximum, and are you BEing what you adore maximum at the same time as doing it? What are you doing for the different 12-14 hours, and how are you able to spend a lot less time doing the former, and larger time doing the latter? no longer many human beings have the braveness to mind-set existence interior the type i have defined above, although the human beings i have met who income this are countless the happiest human beings i have ever understand.

Faith can often be translated also as trust. Trust (in God) is something many of us learn to do. Perhaps some see it as something they earn, but I see it presently in this life as something we learn to do for a being (God) that we do not see (Heb.11:1).

Christians don't believe their faith is earned. We believe we could never be good enough to earn our way to heaven and that's why Jesus died for us. Our knowledge of Jesus leads to the opportunity to love and serve him and to change our lives.

Faith cannot be learned, as you clearly demonstrate.
And unbelief is simply a childish denial of not wanting to
be told what to do and think.

I think faith is the default. Faith is what exists without experimentation. It comes from the same place as superstition. Conclusions drawn on limited evidence from flawed hypotheses.
