Mine was the toast, the first dance, then cut the cake, eat a little, then open presents, then the father/daughter dance, the mother/son dance, then the gater toss, the bouquet toss, and then the drive off... it went great!

You can do it anyway you like.
This is how we did it.
While we were taking pictures at a park, we had a wine and cheese for our guests at the hall. After everyone was in the hall, they announced the wedding party, one couple at a time, then the flour girl and ring bearer, and then us.We all sat down at our head table and the speeches were done.
We had our first dance, then us and the wedding party. Then we had our father/daughter, mother/son dance.
Then the reception got started. After a while we cut the cake. Tossed the bouquet and did the garter. Then we had a cold buffet at around 11pm.Then we danced the night away.
We had the gift opening the next day at my mom's.
There is no set rule for the order of the wedding reception, it's your day, do it your way and have fun!!!

not sure what you mean here...the reception line? I'm not 100% sure....I would put my bridesmaid's with my groom's men then beside you and the other half your maid of honour and the groom's top dog.
Now if you meant the whole party after....reception line, drinks, dinner, speech's then party yer **** off!!

Sorry for not really knowing but hey I'm trying to help. :D
