First of all, if this is actually a serious question and you're not making this up then I would say take her immediately to the doctor, this sounds like a type of syndrome, not just simply a problem with food.
Secondly, how can you refer to your 10 year old daughter as "fat and sloppy"? I hope you are not as cruel to your daughter as you sound like you are.
How could you even think of putting her on diet pills, do you realize that could be completely detrimental to her health?

Oh my goodness. I don't think that would be healthy. Have you talked to a doctor about this? You should probably talk to a pediatrician and not people on the internet about this. It sounds like she is very overweight and giving her diet pills would tax her body even more. Why don't you take her to the pediatrician and make a plan for her. If you really want her to lose weight, you can make it happen. If she's sneaking pans of lasagna at her friend's house, then maybe she doesn't need to go to friend's house for a while.
Please talk to a doctor. Teaching a 10 year old to pop 20 pills a day is a scary habit.

First of all, you should no that there is not a diet pill out there that should be taken 20 times a day. Do some research and be the parent. Her boyfriend should not be given her advice, he is not her father. I do not see how you can even ask if taking 20 diet pills a day is good. Also, your attitude of thinking your daughter is fat and sloppy might be contributing to how she feels about herself.

First of all, the fact that you talk about your own daughter in this manner is appalling. I could never have the heart to talk like that about my own child. Secondly, you mention your daughter having "boyfriends" and that one of them suggests she takes diet pills...at 10 years old! Do you really consider taking the advise of a 10 yr old? And why are you allowing your daughter at 10 yrs old to have "boyfriends"? I mean, jeez, bad enough at age ten that there even is a boyfriend..but boyfriend(s)?! Thirdly, you can tell your child all you want of the importance of healthy eating, but they learn their eating habits from their parents the majority of the time. It is no wonder your child is heavy, especially if you talk directly to her the way you do behind her back. Very sad.

what kind of a parent calls her child big, fat and sloppy. You are mean. Dont just tell your daughter she needs to loose weight, you need to help her learn how to get a healthy lifestyle. Go see a nutrisionist together or join a health club with her or walk together. You need to love her not be ashamed of her. have her checked out by a dr. and make sure something beyond her controll is not happening. have her thyroid checked. etc

I really hope this question is a joke, because I would hate to think of a poor ten year old kid having such a stupid parent. One diet pill a day is not ok for a kid to take!!! See a registered dietician and a doctor.

No, it will not solve the problem. You should first of all discover what's behind the problem. I think it could be some psycological problem, like she is unhappy for some reason. Do you have troubles in the familly? Did she lost somebody important for her? It could be anything. But I believe she has first something to solve.
What your daughter has is something nearly like that if it's not that:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulimia_nervosa
If you can't talk to her, or if she refuse to talk to you, try to let her talk with somebody else. Another family member, or somebody extrenal of the family.
Once her psicological problem is solved, it will be much easier to solve her food/fat problem.
