Puppy Food. Wellness is the best because it is all natural. Natural Choice is also a great food.

puppy food because it has more nutrients than adult dog food but you do need to take her to the vet so that they can not only know about the pregnancy but also do prenatal checks on her (just like with human women), an ultrasound to check to make sure how big the litter will be and the vet can give you a more definite due date if you're in doubt. They will also know to stay on standby for when she does go into labor with the possibility of complications. You should have done a lot of research on breeding and canine pregnancy before this happened for right after this happened.

its always said that it is good to give her one tum a day it helps her build for the babies other then that make sure she is getting a good balance in her dog food most stores have food for pregnant dogs it should have everything she needs in it. also if you still aint comfortable or still worrying then call the vet advice is free and they will tell you if you are lacking anything. all make sure she has plenty of water all the time. if she is outside make sure you have a warm place set up so if she has the babys when you are not there then she has somewhere safe to have them. hope this helps.

There is no need to change your food or add anything different. However, it is important to increase her daily intake a bit later in the pregnancy...not so much at first. Even more critical is increasing her intake when she is nursing. It really depends on your dogs size/weight and how many puppies she's going to have. Try to avoid overfeeding in the first few weeks of pregnancy...it's a common mistake.

I switch mine to a Performance formula through pregnancy, at least 28-18 and 30-20 if it is available. Through the second month I also allow them to eat as much as they want.

If you don't know the answer to your question I suggest you take your dog to the vet and have them terminate the pregnancy.

Breeding is not for just any jo blow, a lot can go wrong and a lot of knowledge is needed.

You need to feed her a good, nutritionally wholesome dry puppy chow until about two weeks after weaning the pups.

Your best bet would be to ask your vet about this as they would give you the best answer for your dog specifically.
