I am a 16 year old guy and my family is into nudism. We were raised in the nudist environment but how do I talk to my parents about an embarrassing situation. My aunt Dawn had me and my sister over at her house while my parents were out of town. They have an outside pool and a fenced in backyard. Well as usual, we go nude often as they are into the nudist lifestyle as well. The thing that happened here that is weird is that my Aunt Dawns 13 year old daughter Amanda was walking around nude and this time I got an erection. I know that is nasty cause she is my cousin and I felt really guilty but I got hard when I saw her bare butt. Well now my aunt is angry with me as she saw it and I got scolded. What do I tell my parents? How do I approach them? If I don't my aunt will.

it is natural for your body to react that way... do not be afraid of talking to your parents... if you are really part of a nudist group, they most likely have open minds...

just talk.

It's their fault that their thirteen year old daughter was allowed to walk naked in front of a boy who is already sixteen years old. You're a guy- you're going through puberty and can't controll it. It's not at all your fault, and I sure as hell hope you don't get blamed for it. Talk to your parents, and don't forget to mention that you were ashamed and the situation bothers you. It's for you to say, not your aunt. What was your aunt expecting? No reaction whatsoever?

Just lay it out. "Mom, dad- this whole nudist thing is(no offense) embarrassing. I blah blah... and I'm really sorry, and the whole thing is bothering me- so could it just stop?"

Simple and clean(Yeah, that is a song, too... but) is the way you have to go.

Don't feel bad about it. Just because some physiological reaction happened to your body upon seeing someone of the opposite sex, you're no one "abnormal." It doesn't mean you're a sick person, that you're into incest, or that you've got some wild attraction towards your cousin at all as you might be nervous about thinking.

The brains of healthy heterosexual men operate in such a way that just about any outside stimuli (of the sexual nature in this case at least) will trigger an urge to some degree that expresses his sexual need. It's all biological, and you shouldn't be ashamed of it. In today's society (and even personally coming from myself), sexual attraction towards your cousin isn't exactly "normal." You don't seem to want her in any way, so don't confuse this incident with any other "greater than platonic" relationship with her because it seems that your aunt has, I'm afraid.

She shouldn't have negatively scolded you on it; because you're confused, she should've talked to you about your feelings. If she hasn't already from an understanding, openminded perspective, approach her and tell her explicitly how you feel. If you're clear about the difference between you getting physically sexually aroused just by the site of nude girl rather than you "wanting to be with your cousin," let your aunt know the same. If she isn't rigid and uptight, it won't be as hard as you think.

After talking with your aunt, go with her to your parents, or if that makes you uncomfortable, go alone and speak with whomever you feel most comfortable being around (between your mother and father, I mean). It can be uncomfortable no matter how you break down going about dealing with something so liberal and raw, but once you start talking, it won't be so bad.

Take care. :)

Don't worry, you're a completely normal 16-year old boy. Just don't pursue it. And if your parents are as open as they publicly make themselves out to be by being nudists, they will probably understand and be able to offer you some sort of advice. Just don't feel guilty - it happens...

it is totally natural. if they're so into nudism then they should also be into nature. men are arouse by sight. if sweet aunt dawn can't get it through her THICK SKULL that's her problem. try talking to a real doctor. not a quack "sex therapist"
Just keep honest with your parents AND yourself. Isn't growing up fun?

Sometimes a guy cant help to get one. I am sure your dad will know this as he must have been in situations like these. I hope things wont be as bad as you think.

sometimes honesty is the best policy...try to first talk with your father, he was young once and may even be able to give you some suggestions to help deal with your changeing body as you mature.
