Yes.
And for the Conservative that wants to squelch free speech, shame on you.
This is the most powerful statement a person can make and for anyone to take it away makes a mockery of the Constitution. You don't have to like it, but you shouldn't take it away.

As you note, Iraq has nothing to do with our freedom and never did. But even if that were the case, what good is freedom if you never use it? I prefer to show my gratitude for my freedom by speaking up when I see something wrong with my country or its policies. As for the yellow ribbon crowd, they'd be more honest if they had stickers saying "Freedom isn't free, so shut the f*** up."

NOTE to Worldsgreatest hero ( Puke) Every Veteran is a hero...
Sad to admit, that you have the right to wrap yourself in My flag and whine about the war, while admitting to being a total coward.Yes, because of the Brave people that fought our wars, past & present, you have that right....
I fell that I should have the right to punch every war protester in the mouth...after all I fought for Freedom of expression too..And I want to Express my freedoms

Well I fought, and my daughter is fighting to insure that your right to do just that is never lost.
That said there is a "Flag Code" and wearing the flag in any manor only lessons your cause.

it's ok to protest a war thats winless, and it's sad that these troops are dying for nothing, the only true vets and patriots are the founding fathers.
And i puke on the guy below me, sad excuse for a vet

Only in a Liberal's eyes, is it ok to wrap their yellow spined blanket of freedom as others die to give you that liberty.

Yes, it is okay. You hate war for all the right reasons, you love human life, etc. You're right about the true politics of this war, which was declared "over" by our President years ago. Lovin' your lovely little analogy. Thanks for speaking my heart.
