I believe adding a little (keyword LITTLE) humor to the toast make it alot better esspecially if you know the couple very well. But make sure to use good taste, and be careful about what you say, yes the grooms trip to vegas with you where you banged ten chicks is hillarious to you but not to anyone else. Be careful and make sure you use good humor.

Im not so sure about this one, its more of a prank than a witty joke but....
What if you gave a bunch of men keys before you gave your toast. And when you stand up to toast, say now that the bride is married, all the men who had keys to her apartment need to give them back. And up come 30 people or so.
I really cant think of anything else.
