following a meal out on saturday night my boyfriend and father (who both had tiger prawn starter) have been very sick. my boyfriend spent 5 hours throwing up, shivering, sweating, headache, numbness in his hands and legs and then slept for 10 hours straight. he spent most of yesterday in bed sleeping on and off, and managed a piece of toast for tea about 8pm. he is still not feeling great today, sicky and shivery) (my father who was ill for about 2 hours is better). any sugestions on the best things for my bf to eat over the next few days to keep his stomach settled. needless to say we wont be going back to the pub to eat again. (when I called them to let them know we had been ill, they got all defensive and stroppy - good mind to report them!!)

you should report this to the health department (or whatever agency in your area would handle it ),,,,that restaurant may have a serious problem, and if a child or ill or elderly person ate there or ate that food, they could become gravely ill,,,,,, try liquids like soup broth , with crackers,, toast,,,,, till he is not vomiting,,,,, then move up to soft foods, non spicy ones,,,, like mashed potatoes and very well cooked meat in a little gravy

Same thing happened to a friend of mine he later developed MS (I think) He's never been the same anyhow, all from a takeaway meal he had. Sorry don't mean to scare you.
