I always like cream on the walls, it makes the room lighter and it's neutral so it's easy to decorate with. The curtains might be nice in a cream tweed with flecks of blue and taupe, here they would be called "drapes" and that type of fabric is readily available. If you can't get that, try some type of subtle floral with mostly cream and a darker blue with taupe or green. Then you can have accent pillows on the settee that match the curtain colors.

Try 3 walls with Apricot white and a light beige on the other. All soft colours and very smart looking. I am an interior decorator. Ceiling must be matt white.

cream or beige is the best choice, but later on you may get bored because both are relaxing colours. maybe you should add some spicing-up details to room. like little light orange ornaments on curtains. if you use turquoise, then you should go with brown tones like dark beige etc.

Cream would be good. If the blue is light choose a slightly darker cream but if the blue is dark choose a lighter cream.
I find beige sometimes looks "dirty" depending on the other colors it is with.

I think you should stay in the beige family. In my opinion, blue and beige looks fabulous together. If you want to go darker try creamy mocha. Good Luck!

if you want the colors that will go together, and want a bright theme, go with oragne. But if you want it to be pretty but not out of the ordinary, then I would go with a cream. a creamy pale yellow. not yellow, more like cream but yellow cased. But that's what I'd do. I've seen those colors together and they look great! Ivory crema would look very good. Best of luck to you!
