I stopped pumping myself with diet pills because they cause me to get the shakes and my heart beat speeds up.The best way to to curb your hunger is with water. It keeps you feeling full between meals and it helps speed up metabolism and weight loss. I started the Michael Thurmond 6 week body makeover last week and I lost 16.5 lbs in 7 days. My diet requires me to eat 5 to 6 small meals a day, (once every three hours) and to drink 100 oz of water a day. I have a hard time drinking all that water so I'll add some crystal light to it or Ill have a can of diet soda with lunch just to break it up. But the water helps so much. Try it for a week and see if it helps. You'll pee alot at first till your body gets use to it, but it is soooo worth the results.

I have never personally taken diet pills. But I will tell, do not start, as they will curb your appetite, but you will tend to eat more. They really don't work. I have not heard anyone say that dexatrim or other pills have helped. Weight Watchers or something like that would be more healthy for you. To answer your question though, yes dexatrim will curb your appetite but remember you need to eat to burn calories.

I don't know about dexatrim, I recently started using xantrax and it is working well for me as i needed a boost to help wen me of snacking, while Ive been on it I haven't even been thinking about food (my usual problem with changing eating habits is I obsessively think about food!) & some times I even forget to eat (very unusual for me!)
