When you're about to bite a steak, have you ever imagined the suffering of the agonizing cow?

When you ate bacons in your breakfast, ever wondered about the last squeals of that pig?

I know it sounds funny, even ridiculous. But because of such silly things, I just cannot eat meat any more.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Mmmmmm - steak and bacons.

We're at the top of the food chain, dude - like it or not. If you decide not to eat meat, good for you. On average, you'll live a longer healthier life than those of use who do eat meat.

Then again, you'll spend a lot longer wasting away in a hospice, suffering from a combination of chronic diseases because you lived so long.

So - life your own life, love the animals, just don't get in the way of those of us who want "bacons" with our eggs.......oh no, think of the unborn chickens!

I have no ethical objections to eating meat, though I believe that animals should be killed as humanely as possible. While I did say that I don't think it's *wrong* to eat animals, I really do like them (some in particular), and I prefer to dissociate the idea of meat with the idea of their having been part of an animal. I don't like picking meat off of bones, for example. I buy skinless, boneless chicken, lol. Seeing someone eating ribs rather grosses me out, as does a whole roasted pig, etc.

I quite eating meat after going to the PETA website and learning how horribly commercial animals are treated. In many chicken farms, they take the beaks off of the birds to keep them from pecking eachother to death in such close quarters. Not only are conditions inhumane, but they are very unsanitary. They have to feed the animals antibiotics to overcome the illness of being in filthy surroundings. It surprises me how many people that have pets can still eat meat. I mean, I know a lady who has parrots and other birds, but she eats chicken all of the time. I dont get it. As for me, I am quite content to stick to my fruits and veggies-the way the good Lord designed me to eat.........

Peace and love brother. Yes eating mammals is not great. I am trying to become a vegetarian. Its hard when you have eaten meat all your life. But I will try. It seems to me though that the Indians ate Buffalo as one of their main foods and they did good. So Buffalo must be good.

I did feel a small bit of remorse the last time I killed and butchered a deer, but then it tasted great. When I buy my meat at the grocery store or resteraunt, I feel none.

nope
Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

Nope, sorry, I don't feel any guilt over eating meat. I do, however, sometimes have an uneasy feeling about eggs. I will not use egg in any chicken recipe. It just seems wrong.

No, I'm just happy that the steaks taste so good and are so filling. I don't eat pork though it's nasty.
