I don't find it funny in a dirty way, but I just think that eating a banana looks really silly.
Am I mad?

No your not mad, yes it is funny. Why? For a couple of different reasons. One, your statement, "I don't find it funny in a dirty way"
clearly shows the first thing that comes to mind for most people.
That's funny that you even mention it. But besides that it is funny, the different ways that people go about eating the banana...For instance, I have noticed, and I admit I do the same thing, that a lot of men open the banana and break a piece off and eat the piece...Why? (Phallic symbol ? ) And I must admit it is hard to turn my head the other way when I see a women eating a banana. The other thing is that we have seen chimps eat bananas and, well, it's the whole Human - Monkey relation thing I guess. But anyway yes it is quite silly. Have a really good day.

How are they eating the banana? I can never understand why people (girls especially) peel back the skin of the banana and then break bits of the banana off and eat them. Why not simply peel the skin back and then aim the banana into their mouths whilst holding the base? Surely far more simple and it means you won't get mucky fingers? Why bother adding needless extra steps into the process to making life hard for themselves? The banana is perfectly formed so that you can eat it - very simply!!
If you're laughing at the fools who do that then I'm right there with ya!

no i don't think it's that funny but some people think its funny to watch some one eat a banana, and not in a dirty way either. and at first i thought watching some one eat apple was funny but now i don't . but when people eat something it looks funny to watch some eat.

My work colleague got lock jaw when she was eating a banana which was hilarious. No you're not mad, just see the funny side of everything, just like me!

I get mad when I'm eating a banana and my husband acts like some kinda sex freak..i'm not trying to be sexual..I just wanna eat a banana. I usually have to tell him to knock it off.

i don't know but when i used to do work experience in a nursing home i used look away when they were feeding the old people banana cos i nearly throw up lol. i can never eat a banana now with out thinking of it puts me off. same as weatabix

i think its just the shape if i have a banana i pull a bit off and eat it not coz it looks silly but the looks and giggles you get from smutty people!
