Easy enough to stop.
Just bio-chip everyone in the US and bio-chip everyone who comes here.
No chip no entry.
For those holidaying a temporary chip ( like a tag) is provided and fitted at the airport, then removed as they leave to board the planes.
For the rest of us it is inserted permanently.
Found without a chip, deported back to your country of origin, if that cannot be proved, then chain gang time, or go to any country will take you.
It means that we give up some of our personal freedoms, but we would be secure in the Knowledge that all in this country are American citizens, resident aliens or invited guests.
Still wouldn’t have stopped Tim Mcveigh though, but we can deal with our own.

First off, let me point out that something similar is being put into place. While it is not a chip, everyone is now being fingerprinted. Through WHTI(Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative), and US-VISIT. Additionally, your idea really wouldn't help, as we currently have identitfied lots of illegal immigrants, but do not ship them out as you are led to believe.

If this is your proposed solution to halt illegal immigration, then I'd say no. First off, this bio chip thing violates a person's basic rights and freedoms, one of those basic rights is the right to privacy. I refuse to give up my freedoms for something like this where there are other alternatives out there that are BETTER than this one and don't require us to give up our freedoms. However, I think it's fair to point out that the alternatives that I have in mind are the kind that you would disagree with anyhow.

Our personal freedoms have been so eroded now, what difference would it make.Although I'm not sure what freedom we would be giving up in order to accomplish your plan. It sounds workable to me.But of course it will never be implemented..Protect this nation and stop illegal aliens in one fell swoop, never happen. Its too much like right.

We can handle the occasional domestic nut,but not millions of illegal aliens, extremists, and USA haters.

The chip would have to something that could not be a programmable one.,so as to not create a nation of people without free will. The chip could just be color coded.Green for stay and red for go .I'm trade marking my idea ...(.just kidding about the trade mark part).

Terrorism comes in all forms. It may come in the World Trade
9/11 strike or in can come in the destruction of America from within.By the invasion of millions of illegal aliens with but one real purpose and that is to turn this nation into a mirror of the one they ran away from.. Millions that have no desire to become Americans,or to assimilate into the American way of life. They want to remain true to their old country and have their loyalty and allegiance to that country only, but live off the bounty of the USA
They want to fly their country's flag higher than the US flag, they scream their hate for America and its legal citizens .
If you cant see that that is a form of terrorism then you are blind.Im really sick of the old BS about "they are only seeking a better life" The question is whos better life are they seeking.?

how would you feel is the same was done to you when you visit a country outside of the US? There are more intelligent ways to control immigration. Human beings are not robots.

There are a lot better ways to go after this, starting with enforcing our laws and ending the benefit magnets like education and jobs for those who come illegally.

No, that is giving the government too much control over me. Sounds like a Big Brother civilization even more than it is now.

This sounds too much like Big Brother to me. We citizens have given up enough of our personal freedoms and liberties.

It's not even that hard to correct the problem. It is simple and would not cost tax payers very much to enforce laws as they pertain to the hiring of illegal immigrants and cut government funds to illegal immigrants (including public schooling, welfare, medical care, etc).

Bio-chip ?? The mark of the Beast?? No thanks. I'm not sure the Bio chip is the correct answer.

I also don't believe that America is ready to pay the price to halt illegal immigration. Imagine paying $15 for a pound of apples.
