previously i had hide a folder.....
Now i click to view all hidden files at TOOLS > FOLDER OPTION but still unable to see the folder...

i went over to DOS and type "dir/ah" ... i can see the folder is there...
how to rectify this??

use the Attib command from the Command prompt to UNHIDE the file. For instance:

attrib -h myfile.txt

I would make a 'test' folder in the same place as your hidden folder. Once created, hide and UNhide it to make sure you are doing it right and that function is working in your computer. If it 'hides' and you can't UNhide it.....nothing lost, it was just a 'test' folder with nothing important in it.
After your test results, repost the question with all the facts.

just do the show all file & then apply the new settings so then it ll show the folder
