Some might, but im American and definitely wouldnt eat it all together! Like pie and mash, but eels are gross and liqueur is best on its own. Im a big fan of Tia Maria or Baileys.

The American idea of "pie" is dessert, a fruit pie like cherry or apple. Mashed potatoes, yes, a lot esp. on Sundays with the pot roast!
Eels--are you high??
Liquor, meaning all kinds of alcohol, some do, some don't. Among the devout, "nice" people don't drink alcohol. The non-devout more than make up for them in consumption!

Yes, they do. All at once. Haven't you heard of eel and liqueur pie with mash?

I'm absolutely sure the Americans have much better taste when it comes to food...

Eels! - surely the most revolting thing ever served up? (I threw up after eating the jellied variety on Brighton Pier). I'd eat american seafood anytime.

And anyway, it's "liquor" NOT liqueur !!!

I doubt they've even heard of it, and it's not liqueur, it's liquor! Mind you, it's still bloody delicious however you describe it! (Obviously I'm NOT a yank! - and I'll tell you what --- doesn't it make a change to see an Englishman poking his nose into an American question - it's usually the other way round!)

Finding a pie in America that is not sweet is very difficult. Meat pie, in USA, not very common at all.

Mash certainly.

Eels only in Chinese and Japanese etc restaurants

liquor is white sauce with parsley in as far as I know. So yes they would.

All together with white pepper and non-brewed condiment...... I doubt it very much.

Yes to all except eels. Americans do not eat eels. Grocery stores do not sell eels. NO EELS PLEASE.
