I see another human being that is going about their daily business just like I am. Just because someone is dressed ethnically or religiously, there is no need to place a judgment on them. I don't judge a man that is dressed like an orthodox Jew, or a woman who is dressed as a Muslim, or a woman who is dressed like a Nun. We are all people sharing the same world together, we should just except our differences and maybe we all could learn something. Peace, love and joy to you all.

I live in a Muslim country and I see it every day so it does not really impact me at all. BUT, before I moved here I thought that the person was obviously secure with herself to wear a head scarf in a culture where that is not commonplace. I also thought is showed her dedication to her religion and commitment to her modesty. I admired that all people had to see this woman for who she was on the inside and not for how she looked. I respected the differences in culture and the woman's personal decision to adhere to her beliefs.

Modesty

A culture of modesty is badly needed, modesty in dress, in speech, and in manners of both men and women. Otherwise, the grim statistics will grow even worse day after day and, unfortunately, women alone will be paying the price. Actually, we all suffer but as K. Gibran has said, "...for the person who receives the blows is not like the one who counts them."

your religion taught u to be complete tolerance of other people's criticism, install a narrow-mindedness notion that the old outdated custom is still relevant today, you try to show others that you are unsociable unless the other is a muslim because u covered up yourself not to be seen as if your good virtues will be tarnished by others, you 've successfully built a barrier to indicate who you are and what you are so that nobody will approach you even if you are in physical danger, other people will hesitate to offer you help because you are untouchable by other caused by your religion which has no adapbility but grip ferventedly yourself that the other people must tolerate you. and give you all the necesary right to practice whatever you think is yours without consider the plight and reasons of other people.

For an ignorant one, he will dislike it, because satan is with him all the time and helping him in temptation. then for others who don't care about the commands of God , they will try to make woman half naked in the name of freedom and democracy.

but as I am muslim too, I see the courage of any woamn wearing Hijab and defeating the enemies of God. she is challenging the world for the pleasure of God. what do you think God would reward her for her patience and her sacrifice ?
May God help them and make Islam govern the world.
note: even Jews and Christians have this in the Bible. look at marry the mother of Jesus peace be upon them. Is this not the best example. < until when they will deny the truth >?

I think to myself...... damm she must be ugly.... i mean seriously, who the heck would want to go near a chick in a table cloth..

I think the real reason is she is probably so scared of being raped by her brothers, that she feels that she must hide as much skin as possible, to blend in with the furniture.

we all know that the "younger" mufti loving youths think that pack rape is a team sport. they even wear matching track suits.
