I know in the teaching of Islam that anybody from us is born with the instinct that there is no other god but God < our creator >.
but many people with the influence of their parents (or other people arround) become buddhists, atheists, christians.....
But Christians believe that Jesus is not a prophet, but he is son of God who came to die for our sins.
so if you were left on an island from the age of 6 until you die. would you sin? if not , does it not contradict your teachings about Jesus?
Please I want honesty in your answers. I am seeking honest Christians, no bad words. we are just looking for the truth.
If I was to be left on an island, I would not sin , because I would not know what is a sin .then in our teachings which is based in the worship of God who forgives the sins, and punishes the sinners if he wants so, and reward the good doers if they believe in him, and grant them paradise with his mercy, doesn't contradict anything. .

Jesus said that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god. Not just adults and mature people. Children know sin from the time that they are born. Just because they may not comprehend it right off the bat doesn't mean that they don't know how to. I have seen plenty of five and six year olds swear, flip the bird and hurt others. Especially in today's society youth doesn't mean innocence. Kids watch TV and learn at a very young age what sin is. So to answer your question yes, I would sin, the bible has told me that I will and that I already have.
Read these bible versus. They will support what I have just said.
Psalms 51:5- Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
Romans 5:8-But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23-For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Mark 13:12-Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. (referring to the signs of the end)
Proverbs 29:15-The rod of correction imparts wisdom but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.

in case you dont recognize that is a sin then its no longer a sin. You cant pick correct from incorrect in case you dont recognize what that is. that's once you recognize its incorrect and do it besides that its a sin. And no, it doesnt contradict the teachings of Jesus on the grounds that no one has each and every lived in this variety of situation. If someone become stranded on an island at 6 (as you're saying) the probable died no longer too lengthy after. Christian.

Actually, it would be possible to sin.
For example, even if you were alone it would be possible to have bad thoughts against someone you knew at one time.
Actually, any sin that involves the mind is still a sin.
For example, Jesus said ...
"You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matthew 5:27-28
that's why what Jesus did on the cross was so important to the human race. There was no possible way for us to please a Holy God on our own merit. We sin too frequently and without thought to change on our own.
God is Holy and we are not and there is no way for the darkness of our sins to approach His wonderful Light of holiness.
What Jesus did was to say "There's no way you guys are going to make it on your own but I, being God and Holy, will die in your place so you can be saved from the wrath to come.
If you're interested in this idea of sin barring us from God's presence, check out.............

You'll be asked a few simple questions (and I mean simple) and you can rate yourself on how well you thought you did.
No one will call or write so you can answer the questions in full confidence.
Hope this helps!

Hello Peace 07!
Jesus Christ is God who came to earth lived as man to die for man because there was no one down here who was righteous enough to take mans place on the cross.
Christ was mankinds substitute.
Proverbs 6 describes the 7 sins that God hates the most.
Sins of the mind things such as bitterness, jealousy,
vindictivness, implaccability .
Sins of the tongue gossip ,malining ,judging others, lying ,stealing
The only overt sin mentioned is murder because it is removing the persons freedom to live and and interfering with God's plan for his life.
We are all sinners Christ paid the penalty for us.
All have a sin nature passed down from Adam it is through every cell of our body and will remain so until out of the body face to face with the Lord in death.
God instructs Christians in 1 John 1:9 to go directly to Him and name our sin and He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
This does not give us license to sin but God knew in eternity past there would be times we would slip up .
There is nothing we can do to gain God's aprobation.
When Christ's work on the cross for salvation was completed He uttered "It is finished!
We cannot add anyything to His completed work.
Faith alone in Christ alone is the thing which God provided for our eternal life!
So If I were on an island with a small amount of food Yes I probably would sin with my mind for a while then pull myself up by the boot straps and name my sin of bitterness to God and then claim His promise in proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own undestanding.
In all thy ways know Him and He shall direct thy paths.
Then relax and trust in Him.
As David said "against thee and Thee only have I sinned.
Take care!

That all depends on if I could have my Hummer H3 with me and all of my favorite books and all of my favorite tunes....lol.... because coveting (lusting after, or desiring) what others have is a sin.....so, that island would have to have everything that my heart ever desired or ever thought I couldn't live without on it.... then and only then would ANY one be able to not sin....(see, anything that was produced after (i.e. a hummer h4, h5, h6, h7...etc.) wouldn't be known of once the island was cut off from the rest of humanity.....lol

I don't think I could sin.......what would you sin for? You don't know bad words. Well if I didn't know about Jesus then I don't think that it would mess with my faith. But if you don't know about God when you die then you go to Heaven.
