Have you or a loved one every been diagnosed with Hydrocephalus?

If you or your loved one has, and they have already undergone treatment for this condition (the installation of a valve shunt), have they ever experienced a constant ringing in the ears?

my grandson was born 11-19-06 with fluid in his 4th ventricle in the brain which they said he had hydrocephalus, so a couple days later they inserted a programabe shunt. So far he has had no problems, he gaining weight and is a very happy baby.
