I am also a solitary eclectic Wiccan. I have been so, especially after the 7/2003 to 12/2003 witch hunt where I live. Most of the wiccans I knew either left the country or moved inland to be able to practice the craft in peace.

I'm not a Wiccan. I'm not initiated into any of the Wiccan (BTW) Traditions.

I'm a Witch: part hedge-witch, part coven-trained in two different non-BTW (British Traditional Wicca) traditions.

Wicca *informs* my practice. But I'm not an initiate.

I've been a coven-trained Witch for over 25 years, and a Priestess for over 20. The Tradition I currently practice is NROOGD, which is also the "outer court" or public Tradition of a lot of BTW folks. NROOGD is an initiatory Tradition in and of itself, though. The emphasis of NROOGD is on the turning of the wheel of the year. Individual research and scholarship is prized, and while there is a definite theology and liturgy, there is a lot of room for creativity and individual practice.

Solitary ecclectic, though I'm still researching Welsh and Scottish traditions. I really love herbology (really love herbology) and will probably become a Green witch, whether I end up following a specific path or just meshing Welsh and Scottish together. I did some research into Faerie Wicca, but it just didn't quite seem to be "my" thing.

I belong to an eclectic coven with a decidedly Celtic influence. Although I also have a lot of Norse influence as my preferred means of divination is the elder Futhark (runes).
