are u using it with another antivirus?? use only one anti virus at once......and btw do not ever get norton on ur pc....its crap, makes ur pc slow and doesnt let u uninstall it ^_^

Zone Alarm has performed well for me as a firewall on about a dozen different computers - Win95 thru WinXP Pro. But I imagine with the right (or in this case wrong) combination of hardware and your other software, your version may make your system unstable.
You should un-install it. If you feel you still need a firewall, consider installing the prior version or wait for the next update, in the event it fixes your problem.
You could search for an alternative firewall by going to www.cnet.com and selecting the downloads tab. Enter "firewall" as your search term. They will show you a variety of freeware, shareware and trialware. Cnet is a bit safer than surfing the net and randomly selecting software if you are unfamiliar with the company.

Sure you don't mean Firewall, not Anti-Virus? If it's not working for you, try another free product! OR check out forums - there's bound to be one discussing this product in detail.

Norton, AVG, Avast are free antivirus software.
