I think some people are predisposed to have them! I have always had one and never been really over weight. Of course losing weight will help if you need to. My mother used to do the Q-IX exercise. You say Queue in a very pronounced way and then ix, stretching your mouth out which makes your double chin and throat contract. Probably causes wrinkles while it fixes your double chin! Don't worry about it , you probably look cute with one anyway!

If your double chin isn't weight-related, your two other options are:

1) Liposuction
2) Chin Implant

I've included a couple of links which give you more information about both options.

1. Loose weight
2. Shape up - gym work
3. Plastic surgery/liposuction.

The first one, coupled with the second will almost certainly work.
Don't even think about the third unless your doctor says that you have some strange condition that the first two won't fix.

Face stretching exercises: moving your jaw and neck around to extremes whilst watching TV, but don't over do it. Its also advisable not to over eat and do other regular exercises.

You could always do exercises, and do something to work your neck. You should be able to work it off if you really want to, although it probably wont be easy. Best of luck with it though, and tell us how it goes!
