No. I dont believe that anything whatsoever is predestined. Life would be totally boring, besides whatever struggles, plans etc would just be leading to one end - what has already been predestined. We have free will to choose what we want out of life. That is a gift from God to all humans.

This is an important question. I suppose some astrologers believe that our lives are predestined at some level. It does seem to make sense that, if we can predict, then our lives are predestined. Some astrologers are uncomfortable with that idea and say that free will overrides the chart. This is, to me a bit of a cop out. It is also very handy when prediction goes awry: "Well I guess he exercised his free will." I suppose the real question is: is everything predictable with precision? I'm speaking in theory here - astrologers have varying levels of competence and there is more we don't know than we do know. The answer is most likely, "no." But we can see trends or potentials. Now the skeptic jumps on this and says we want to be as vague as possible so that we may not be contradicted. This is nonsense as it gives the skeptic the authority to define astrology his way and of course we can predict the outcome of that action. Let's take that old bugaboo, death. Death is neat, from the astrologer's viewpoint, because it is unambiguous. One is either dead or he isn't. Therefore when I predict death, I'm either right or wrong as the native is either dead or alive, so if I cannot predict death and be right much of the time, astrology is bunk. Right? Not really. It might be more fair to say that one is in danger of death at a particular time. Whether or not he actually dies is more of a product of chance. This is precisely what 19th century astrologer Luke Broughton published about Abraham Lincoln saying he would be in grave danger in April of 1865. We know how that turned out. And Broughton was "rewarded" for his efforts by what was described as an "anti-astrology mob" that ransacked his home and forced him to flee Philadelphia. I wonder what his chart said. The point is that had Broughton predicted Lincoln would die in April 1865 the skeptics would have said he was lucky. That he said grave danger (or something like that) means he was vague. The skeptic gets to have it both ways. But what Broughton did might be the best astrology can do and if so, well that's it. Had Booth been arrested or had the weapon misfired, Broughton would still be correct. For everything there is a season: a time to live and a time to die and I suppose a time for danger. It is those times we should be able to spot in the chart; how they will precisely work out depends on many other factors not all of which are at the astrologer's fingertips. Booth had a chart, too.

If you are asking whether God predestines life partners, I don't believe this to be a part of any theology. Predestination has to do with salvation, not an issue like this.

Many things are predestined, but only if one stays on the path they are on. The future can be changed with prayer and
positive action.

No. There is no predestination. The future is radically open, and we are free.

And every relationship, even with the "perfect" person for you, takes work.

I do not believe this is so,we all have free choice in life and we freely choose to love another,I think it is the qualities that someone has and also how they look and respond that attracts us to them, this can lead to true love and eventually marriage.
