Boy, that's miserable!

I've wonderred the same thing about nasal sprays. But you can try washing your bedding and running your pillows through the dryer to get dirt and dust out of them. That should cut down on your morning stuffy nose problem.

Good luck!

You may have allergies. You should see your doctor. Most likely the nasal spray says "works UP TO 12 hours." They don't always work the way the say they will. Sorry but that's just life.

be careful with over the counter nasal sprays...they can be addictive and cause things like a ruptured septum....very serious...your stuffiness could be due to dust or dust mites in your pillows and or mattress or other allergies....figure it out by eliminating all possible causes one by one and see what helps...then go see a doctor...good luck

i don't know much about medications for allergies. anything i've tried had side effects worse than the benefits.

the most important thing to do with allergies is to avoid your allergens. obviously that is very hard to do. buy a hepa filter for your room and remove everything that cannot be cleaned.

eat a healthy and nutritious diet and stay hydrated. good luck figuring out what you are allergic to.

Could be that the air in your bedroom is too dry. When the heat is on it really eliminates alot of moisture. Try getting a cold mist humidifier and see how that works.

perhaps it is actually sinusitis and you may need antibiotics to clear it up and that is why the spray is not working now. See your doctor and have it checked out, I wouldn't wish it on anyone..it is so annoying :(
