If someone does not aggree with a question why not post a counter argument instead of reporting it? esp if se?
If someone does not aggree with a question why not post a counter argument instead of reporting it? esp if of a sexaul nature?

Certainly here in singles and dating given thats what single and dating is all about.

As for the oh what about kids argument...

A) if kids what interest is there in dating

B) most of the questions are from teenagers clearly showing they need to know

ie
Parents... why do you keep your kid so in the dark about sex they have to ask questions here?

got violation notice.

The pupose of it is to stop kids not knowing stuff they need. Clearly demonstrated by all their posts... So would it not make sense to play fair and just say look mate you are wrong because....

rather then pathetically crying to big bro yahoo to hide the question...

If you are right... when why not prove it with you counter argument.?

That is a FANTASTIC idea - however people half the people that report others on here have a personal vendetta opposed to actually genuinely being upset or offended by the question.
I think your idea is brilliant - and think of how great the debates would be if people actually started doing as you suggest.

lol...you are talking to one of the queens of violations...i got 25 in the space of a week once ...14 in one day...and the questions removed...i am a big advocate of people that report questions having their avatar show as the reporter...also that the reports should be monitored by Y! and if the reporting is malicious then the person responible should have points removed and you should get your question reposted and your points back....Y!s system for this sucks...

theres been one little revolution already...i'll let you know when the next one occurs...;0)

Because that is far too difficult for some of these Blair loving weasels to do. It is far easier for them to just click on a lick rather than type an argument in English.

Counter arguments require the respondant to actually think about what they might write. It's much easier to click the report button and have the automated Yahoo!Answers customer care uphold the complaint.

I accept as true with the poster above me. i have had really some solutions deleted because i answer easily. i did not recognize that being straightforward become in violation of YA regulations. in the adventure that they don't agree, that is what the thumbs down button is for. Violations should be saved for the racist and disgusting comments.

Because in reality we really don't want to face our problems. So instead of facing them we stay on yahoo answers all day.
