If someone does not aggree with a question why not post a counter argument instead of reporting it? esp if of a sexaul nature?

The pupose of it is to stop kids not knowing stuff they need. Clearly demonstrated by all their posts... So would it not make sense to play fair and just say look mate you are wrong because....
rather then pathetically crying to big bro yahoo to hide the question...

I agree with you, people should use WORDS to debate an issue rather than report and run. But there are all kinds of people that use Y!A and you open yourself up every time you post a question and answer.
HOWEVER, I do NOT agree that points should be taken away for reporting abuse. I have never used that option in any way than what it was intended to be used for. Mostly to report spammers or those individuals selling things. I will do it every time, and I do believe it is lame to report abuse for disagreements. I refuse to lose points because of spam. That will discourage people from reporting if they lose points.

I have no idea what you are trying to say.
We don't post counter questions because then we lose points for each question we post.
Sometimes we don't post because we don't feel that strongly about the answer.
Sometimes we are too busy making money and doing are taxes.
Sometimes we want to communicate - with YOU!
Sometimes - people on these sites are abusive - and some actually report - illegal activities.
I don't know what someone did to you, but you seem angry about it.

The times we live in make us very sensitive about adults, especially males, who seem to have what may be perceived as an unhealthy interest in teaching children about sex.
It would seem that whatever your motivations, your question disturbed someone enough that they reported you.
You have the freedom to post - they also have the freedom to be disturbed by what you post and report you rather than give a counter argument.

I totally agree.I think people should have points taken away for reporting ,that may stop them doing it for no reason.Ive had two violations this morning for no reason whatsoever,i couldnt give a damn but i just cant believe how sad some people are.
