When you start training, you develop more muscles, which in turn increases your metabolism. So, don't forget to tone up/do weights as well as doing your cardio.

building up on lean muscle will help naturally increase your metabolism, but keep track an the amount you consume per day, and the key is to burn more calories than you consume.
when doing cardio try to aim for a heart rate between 130-160, this is the fat burning zone, anything less wont burn fat as effectively
and remember the first 30 minutes your body is burning carbs exclusively, so try and do weights first to spend you body's carb storage, then when it has run out after 30 mins it will start burning fat effectively, the perfect time get the cardio kicked off and metabolism will remain high, burning calories for upto 2 hours at rest after the workout

Eat more frequently like 5 times a day. Not big meals just your normal breakfast, lunch and dinner but with snacks inbetween. You're body needs to know its getting lots of food before it releases the fat it's storing and the more food it burns off, the higher your metabolism should be. Excercising is also very good for this, but its useless if you're not eating enough often enough.

A number of things can speed up your metabolism. There are some certain foods, but I've found that muscle will speed up your metabolism. If you start working out and gaining muscle mass, you will see your metabolism speed up. Also eating small amounts every few hours.

You need to keep up your exercise program for sure but besides having a good diet you have to monitor your caloric intake and eat 4-6 small meals a day. That should do it.

exercise! Even going for a brisk walk in the morning will help! Also, eating regularly will help keep your metabolism up. In other words, don't skip any meals. Good luck!
