well, there might be a couple of reasons for castillo's performance. 1) he underestimated the guy, cause ngoudjo turned out to be a lot better than his fifteen fights suggest 2) castillo hadn't fought in a year so he was pretty rusty. 3) castillo is only at his best when he fights big names. as for hatton, i don't even know what his problem was. it seemed like ever since the kostya tyzuu fight, hes had that boring style where he throws a couple of punches and then clinches. its gotten worse since the last couple of fights. urango did show a weakness about hatton that he doesn't take a body shot too well. castillo's main weapon is a left hook to a body, so look for castillo to land that punch all night. i'm gonna go with castillo by ko or decision.

Hatton only fought once last year remember, that was in may, so he has been out of the ring for quite a while, so maybe his stamina wasnt up to its best on saturday night (he has been out of shape for a while) Also on Sat night it was Castillos first fight for a while as we all know what happened weighing in last time! Hatton does not need Junior Witter, he's done nothing compared to Jose Luis Castillo, whos a mexican legend. I think the Hatton Castillo makes for a good fight, they both didnt look superfit on saturday in Vegas, but they will both keep in shape and ready for June were they will both be back to their best and will produce a great fight. Witter is a long way off getting a fight with Corrales, he may have to beat Harris first and that wont be easy. Witter will never get the recognition or fan base that Hatton has. Witter looks quick, slick, and good to watch, but he has alot more to do yet, and hes 33 now, and thats not young. Good luck to him tho.

Hatton has nothing to gain by fighting Witter, he is not in the class of Ricky.
Not sure where you get that idea that the yanks want Witter v Corrales!!!
The defining fight for Hatton would be Mayweather but that would involve Ricky stepping up or Mayweather dropping down.

i wouldnt like to predict the outcome of that as both fighters seem to have problems with weight ,more so castillo. i would say it depends on how they prepare between now and is it june they fight. as for witter v hatton , it was american tv who didnt fancy witter but now with his connections with golden boy promotions and if he gets thru a mandatory who knows.never say never.

this definently wont be a superfight..even if castllio manages to weigh in on weight..hatton will crush him...the super fight that u say will prolly be like hatton playing somebody so he is the underdog in las Vegas..

i would say both fighters will be up for it when they meet.and it should be a good fight.like everything else these days.its about
money.and hatton is a big draw at the box office.
