In Revelations 14 it says only 144,000 saints will be raptured before the tribulation that is the bride of Christ. During the great tribulation other saints will be raptured and they will be the wedding guests. So there will be 2 raptures. I would rather be in the first one. Do you think you are worthy to be included in the first rapture? If so why? Because so many Christians believe in the once saved always saved policy, that is not true.Christians we have to get right with God now not until the tribulation as it will be too late then. You do not want to be left behind, so Christians I am just reminding you that only 144,000 Christians will be in the first rapture. I am glad I did remind you becuase I used to think that millions will be taken away before the tribulation and I was wrong, until I saw Revelations 14, and saw a Servant of the Lord whom Jesus spoke to her and told her that is true. It is now time for me to stop swearing and yelling at people who annoy me.

Because Christians the tribulation period will be in the near future and I do not want to see any of you left behind. While there is still time we all have to get right with God now, yes Christians now.

Again I have to disagree with you. No where in the bible will you find the word rapture. You are messing on dangerous grounds taking verses out of the bible that is not there. The 144,000 thousand that are chosen are the 12,000 of Israel from each tribe. They are redeemed FROM the earth. These ones are virgins and not defiled with women. They are the first fruits unto God and to the lamb.

Who will be the ones caught up in the clouds, as stated in 1 Thess. 4: 17. Verse 15 explains that they are the faithful ones "who are left until the coming of the Lord," They are the few faithful who are left on the earth. Remember in Rev. 14 the qualifications it takes to be the chosen 144,000. These few that are on earth will never see death. They will be instantly "caught up to meet with the lord"

Rev.20:6 :they shall be priest of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Just who are these 144,000 thousand going to be priest to? Maybe the great multitude of people left on the earth after tribulation. Ever wonder why they are going to reign with him for a thousand years?

In Rev. 7:9, 10, 14 Speaks of a great multitude of people which no man could number, standing BEFORE the throne. These are the ones who have came out of the great tribulation. Does this not suggest that these are the survivors of the great tribulation?

No rapture !

Gospel According to Saint Matthew
Chapter 6

33 Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.

The origins of the doctrine of the rapture are hotly debated. The Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches (which represent the majority of Christians worldwide) have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and in part because they do not interpret the scriptures the way that Rapture-believers do

Re-read the text-----It does not say only 144000 will be raptured, the 144000 are 12000 of each of the twelve tribes (Christ believing Jews) who will be left behind to witness to the world during the tribulation. How about a real verse that says
---in reference to an uncountable number "They have washed themselves clean" in reference to those saved during the tribulation. Someone clearly gave you that verse out of context. Revelation 7 3-8 talks about receiveing the seal of God in their forehead---not the rapture.

The 144,000 refers to the number of Jews, 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes, who will come to faith in Christ during the tribulation, which is /after/ the rapture.

You are SERIOUSLY wresting Scripture. Those who are saved will be YAHUDIM. (what some folks erroneously call "Jews") Yahudim means that they worship YHVH. The Savior's name is YHVH is my Savior, so His name is YAHOSHUA! We are told not to use pagan names (Ex.23:13) so why do you call the Savior "JESUS", "IESUS" "Hail Zeus"? (the short answer is "disobedience") No one will be "Raptured" a few (obedient ones) will be "saved". Get with the program! (There was no "J" until 1400 A.D. so obviously the names of the Almighty cannot have a j in them!!!!)

You won't be in the first group. I will be taking you spot because I am perfect and I'm not even a christian. I hear that god to pat robertson you will be left behind and I will unfortuinately go in your place.

Now go preach somewhere else.

let's see, 2,100,000,000 Christians in the world (approximate). You say that only 144,00 will be 'raptured'. (both interesting number, and concept).

If you are right, that would leave 2,099,985,600 stuck here on earth.

Seems a bit unfair. Then again, your numbers are pulled out of your a ss and god doesn't exist.
